Why Inhouse Agents exists
The AI workforce category had a hole.
Closed AI platforms — Salesforce Einstein, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT for Work — wanted to put your customer data in their cloud, charge per token, and lock you into their ecosystem. For ops teams in regulated industries (HealthTech, FinTech, LegalTech, InsurTech), that wasn't an option.
So we built the alternative we wanted ourselves: a self-hostable AI workforce platform with pre-configured roles (SDR, Support, Billing, EA, Research, Product, Designer, TPM), capability slots that bind to whatever tools you already use, and the option to ship turnkey hardware so your data never leaves your office.
We've shipped 28 versions in the first month. Sometimes more in a day than most products release in a quarter. We ship every day.
Our roots
Lopie Dev was founded by Josh Lopez, a former Amazon program lead who helped deliver Prime Video to 200+ million users across 220 countries.
That experience shaped how we think about scale, quality, and the long game.
Josh built Lopie to bring that same level of execution and discipline to small, high-velocity teams — the kind of teams that move fast, talk directly, and care about results. Inhouse Agents is the product line where we apply that to the AI workforce category.
